Compliance-Screening

When exporting goods or providing knowledge and technology to foreign countries, shippers and providers are required to comply with anti-terrorism embargo measures. This is the purpose of what is known as compliance screening. This includes, among other things, verifying recipients in accordance with the EU Anti-Terrorism Regulations (EC) No. 881/2002 and 2580/2001 to avoid violations that constitute criminal offenses under Section 34 of the Austrian Foreign Trade Act (AWG).
